Modernizing Ontario Secondary School Diploma Requirements

(May 31, 2024) As announced on May 30, 2024, the Ministry of Education is modernizing Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) requirements to ensure that students have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen pathways and continue to build a skilled workforce that strengthens Ontario’s economy and furthers its global competitive advantage.

ADSB Welcomes Four New Trustees

At the November 15th Inaugural Meeting, Algoma District School Board (ADSB) welcomed four new Trustees for the November 2022 to November 2026 term.

ADSB Chair & Vice Chair Selected

(Nov 16, 2022) Algoma District School Board (ADSB) held their Inaugural Meeting on November 15, 2022. Jennifer Sarlo was acclaimed and will continue in her role as Chair of the Board while Elaine Johnston was nominated by Trustee Susan Myers and elected as ADSB’s new Vice Chair.

We have approximately 100 students in our school and 20 staff to support them.
